Woodcrest
Rifton, New York,
United States
Woodcrest was founded in 1954 and was immediately flooded with guests and new members. Many came from Quaker and Brethren backgrounds; others were agnostics, atheists, or of other non-religious backgrounds. People from intentional communities like Koinonia, founded by Clarence Jordan, Macedonia Cooperative, Kingwood, and Celo joined Woodcrest too.
