Many people say that information wants to be free and certainly in this day and age people expect information to be free. Unfortunately, collecting, maintaining, and presenting information in a useable format takes time and resources.

Part of the Fellowship for Intentional Community's mission is to provide quality information about intentional communities to those seeking community, the press, those doing research, and to intentional communities looking to network. We feel the online Communities Directory and the Intentional Communities website are an integral part of fulfilling that mission.
