Advertisments on the Communities Directory

The FIC has always made the Online Communities Directory free, both to communities providing listings and to those browsing our directory. But our non-profit organization needs some income to pay for the expenses of creating and maintaining our site and thus we have chosen to include advertisements on our site to augment income from sales of our products and from donations.

We apologize if any of the ads are off-topic or offensive to you. We have minimal control over ads but may be able to limit specific offensive ads. If you find anything offensive please contact us and include the specific ad content and URL.

Advertise on our site

If you would like to advertise on our site, you must use Google's system to advertise on ic.org. You can create an account at adwords.google.com and when you create ads you can specifically ask that they be placed on www.ic.org and/or directory.ic.org.

Ads on your community's listing

If you are a community with a listing on our Communities Directory, and your community is a current member of the FIC, you may request that ads not be shown on your listing page. To do so please use our contact form.
