Riparia is an intentional community on twelve acres. Riparia has nine homes, a year-round creek, organic gardens, and orchards. There are 25 people presently living in our community. We have a good mix of ages with both young people and elders.
We interact with the greater Chico area, including sponsoring fundraisers and other events at Riparia to benefit local organizations. Our focus is right livelihood and working on environmental, peace, and social-justice issues. We are learning to live cooperatively, yet retaining a strong commitment to individuality.
