Collectively owning our old Victorian house means freedom from landlord-imposed restrictions, but also means more responsibility for maintenance. We take turns cooking dinner and have bi-weekly house meetings. We share the evening meal, which is primarily vegan and organic. We compost all kitchen waste in our lovely little garden, share appliances and tools, and are a bike-friendly household. We also value being open and honest.
