Morninglory
Killaloe, Ontario,
Canada
(Ottawa Valley, Eastern Ontario, 2 hrs. drive from Ottawa)
We are a village of separate households scattered over 100 hilly wooded acres, single people and families. We homestead in varying degrees, use only solar electricity and wood heat, and grow organically most of our fruits and veggies. We've spent 38 years learning how to be good neighbors, which has been a worthwhile process.
Most of our children were home birthed/ and are homeschooled; ages 2 years to 19. Swimming in our pond, trampolining, tobogganing, snowshoeing, full-moon drumming, new moon women's circles, music jams and pot lucks are some of the things we do for fun. We all share a love of nature and music making.
We are all involved with the surrounding and supportive rural community in varying degrees.
Guests are welcome if they arrange in advance and help out while they're here.
May all people find harmony with Earth and each other!
