 The Yogashakti Mission was started by Maha Mandaleshwar Shakti Sant Shiromani Ma Yogashakti Saraswati to further the spiritual development of humankind through the practice of yoga based on the techniques of highest values and truth embodied in the Upanishads, Geeta, Raja Yoga and other scriptures.
The Yogashakti Mission is an international family dedicated to serving God and humanity in order to bring about a revival of spirituality through yoga.
The registered office of the mission is at 11, Jaldarshan, Nepean Sea Road, Mumbai 400 026, India. The mission also has centers at Haridwar, New Delhi, Chennai, New York, and Florida (United States). Centers hold regular yoga classes, meditation, retreats, services, arti, and festivals.
The mission publishes a brief bi-monthly newsletter, keeping the devotees in touch with the activities. Mataji (Ma Yoga Shakti) can be reached at the centers. She has also published several books on yoga and allied subjects in Hindi and English that are available from Yogashakti Mission. If you are interested in learning the higher values of life, keeping your body and mind healthy, assisting humanity toward spiritual growth, you are welcome to join the Ashram. Age, religion, caste, or creed are no barriers.
