| "In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone's food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to follow" (2 Thes. 3:6-9).
From our experiences in over 40 years of having regularly attended and/or visited over 40 different Messianic, Sabbath and Sunday-observing churches, bible study groups, and having met hundreds of Christians at the college campuses and work places here in the Philippines and the United States, we have never heard them preach or talk on self-sufficiency! No wonder, for almost 2000 years since the founding of the New Testament Church, millions of fellow Christians around the world are living way below the poverty line of even those in the Second World.
Majority of the so-called Christians from and in the First World are not interested to practice what they are supposed to be doing and preaching in the first place! The priests, pastors, ministers, missionaries, educators, authors, producers, directors, actors, and other leaders are hypocrites. They are very prolific in preaching behind the podium, over the radio, TV, movie, Internet and other means of mass media. Some of them earn thousands to millions in U.S. dollars from writing, selling books and producing movies and TV documentaries on Jesus Christ, Anti-Christ, 666, Mark of the Beast, Planet X, Wormwood, Apocalypse, Armageddon, Bible Codes, Da Vinci Code, Illuminati, shadow governments, secret societies, secret rapture or "left behind" theory, etc. They are excellent talk show hosts, convention or seminar speakers, preachers, professors, writers, media tycoons, but not the doers against the air and environmental pollutions and climate changes or global warming!
On the other hand, the church goers spend more of their time, tithes and offerings either to build, buy, lease or rent and maintain church-office buildings, campuses and parking lots, rather than to help create the necessary sustainable rainforest, conservation, and other related products and services! When they drive to church on Sunday, which is not the biblical Sabbath day, they spend more time worrying where to park their vehicles in the crowded parking lots and streets than to spend time preparing their minds for their religious services.
In the commercial and industrial sectors, hundreds of them accumulate millions to billions in U.S. dollars from buying and selling stocks on oil, commodities, and other traded products and services. Despite the high incomes of the so-called Christians with tax breaks and access to off-shore banking to hide their wealth from the Internal Revenue Service or other tax collectors, they do not aid the Third World Christians to become fully independent and self-sufficient in their own native land, so that the latter do not have to seek jobs or immigrate abroad to work for the First World.
However, in the Holy Bible it is written: “Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, they had all things in common... Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles' feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need” (Acts 4: 32, 34-35).
Almost all of the followers of religion as well as the non-believers around the globe ignore the following facts: “About 40 percent of deaths worldwide are caused by water, air and soil pollutions," according to a group of Cornell University researchers in 2007. "More than 4.5 million people die each year from industrial and vehicle emissions and from burning fuels indoors," according to the World Health Organization! Millions of the individuals and families in the First World buy one or more vehicles which are powered with gasoline and/or diesel fuels, instead of the ones which run on hydrogen, electric, ethanol, biodiesel, other alternative, renewable and cleaner sources of energies to protect and preserve Planet Earth for the next generations.
OUR MISSION
The 7th Millennium Community is the proposed intentional community or self-sufficient cooperative composed of a Christian camp, conference/retreat center, kibbutz, cottage industry and general consulting enterprise. Christians ought to be the creators of jobs and suppliers of goods and services, rather than mere employees and consumers. Christians ought to be working for God rather than for the material or market-oriented societies. Christianity is a way of life totally different and separate from the lifestyles of the Hollywood movie, TV, other entertainment celebrities, and the world's famous personalities!
These are some of our beliefs, concerns, goals, plans to do, etc.:
1. We are going back to the early Messianic era by emulating some of the living and working practices of the New Testament Church (Acts 2:44-45; 4:32-35). We are seeking to affiliate and fellowship with the remnants of the original Messianic/Christian Church, which started on the Day of Pentecost in the same year that Christ died for our sins and resurrected for our salvation.
a. We believe that the original church founded in 31 A.D./C.E. had the best of the best in knowledge and wisdom about the Heavens and Planet Earth.
b. The Holy Bible is our #1 instruction manual for daily living! We prefer to read and study the scholarly-recognized translations and versions.
2. We are going to follow the excellent examples of the self-sufficient communes of the Hutterian Brethren, Amish, some of the Mennonites and other groups. The fine Hutterite, Amish and Mennonite intentional communities have been living successfully in Canada and the United States for 300 to 470+ years, including the years of persecution since they first started in Europe. Some of their communes have turned into top tourists' attractions. We are also going to follow the successful kibbutzim in Israel. These groups are not homeless, squatters, hungry, malnourished, naked or wearing tattered clothes. They take good care of their own senior citizens.
3. We are striving to live our daily lives in preparation for our MESSIAH'S SECOND COMING! (Mat. 24, Luke 21, I Thes. 4:13-18; 5:1-10, Rev. 19, Isa. 24, Dan. 12, Zech. 14, Mal. 4) We are preparing for our King of kings whether or not He will return in 3.5 years after His Church escapes into the "place of safety." He will intervene in the Battle of Armageddon (WW III). In Rev. 8:5-13; 9:1-2, Planet X, Wormwood, the asteroids, comets, meteors, and hailstones are predicted to appear which can cause deaths and destruction all around the Earth.
4. We in the 7th Millennium Community are pursuing the establishment of the self-sufficient cooperative so as to follow the example of the New Testament Church, to create job opportunities to the students, graduates and career changers, and to provide an alternative homeland to live in for safety and security.
a. The proposed site would be somewhere in Maasin City, the fishing, agricultural, ecological, hilly, mountainous and small capital of Southern Leyte - one of the country's 7107 tropical islands located in East Central Philippines.
b. We will be using bicycles with battery and solar-electric-driven motors, cars and trucks powered with H2O, ethanol and/or biodiesel fuel.
c. We will be using solar cells and other sources of energy with no pollutants. Leyte Island is one of the nation's top producers of geothermal-generated electricity...!
As a matter of foresight and wisdom, real Christians around the Earth should have been building and living in a kibbutz to prepare for the MESSIAH'S SECOND COMING (Luke 21:7-36); preparation time before His Church will "exodus" or flee into the "place of safety" to take refuge for 3 and 1/2 years from her enemies (Revelation 12:6,14), and the Great Tribulation. Christians must prepare for the collapse of the global economy! "World economic collapse will bring worldwide famine and epidemics of disease in its wake," as reported by Joseph Noah in his book, FUTURE PROSPECTS OF THE WORLD ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE CODE.
You cannot take with you your earthly possessions, your idols, your status symbols, your nationalism, your patriotism, your pride (1 John 2:15-17), even in the soon-coming Kingdom of God on Earth. Christ said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:33-36).
To jump-start our project, we need the kind assistance of the financially blessed Messianic and fellow Christians, and the millionaires and billionaires around the world before the dollars, euros, pesos, etc. will diminish their values, be demonetized and replaced someday with the New World Order's new currency - one of the marks of the beast. We need your generous help before your hard-earned wealth and possessions will be wasted away and lost forever to the Great Tribulation and the Battle of Armageddon. We are praying, hoping and urging you brethren and friends to join hands together to build your own self-sufficient communities in safe areas outside of the big towns or cities in your respective provinces, states and countries before the prophecies in Mat. 24:20-31, Luke 21:25-28, Rev. 16:18-21 will be fulfilled.

We will help you as soon as God and His blessed people would provide us the means and moral support to establish the self-sufficient 7th Millennium Community. For the reason that we advocate and practice the biblical command: "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?
