| We are organizing a pedestrian-based ecovillage while preserving 100 acres of woodland, five miles from downtown Athens, Georgia.
We wish to live with each other and with all other forms of life, plant, and animal, in a way that is respectful, considerate, and open to growth. We will encourage diversity of all types.
We hope to be tolerant and open to each other's ideas and opinions, to learn and grow together, and to offer what we learn to others. We intend to support each other, to encourage creativity and dreams, and to share our discoveries.
We want to create an integrated community in which the residents can live, work, and pursue their interests. We hope our community can serve as a model of sustainable living, using viable solutions that do not further harm, but rather, help to heal the earth. | Community location is placed at the center of the zip/postal code, city/state, or city/country (not based on street addresses) |
