Karen Catholic Worker House
St. Louis, Missouri,
United States
We are a Catholic Worker community established 27 years ago. Eight of us offer our home (old convent) to 25-30 homeless women and children in north St. Louis.
Our main goals are personalism and hospitality, but we also live out resistance, nonviolence, voluntary poverty, anarchism, and sustainability.
Some members have also formed other smaller houses of hospitality in the Karen House neighborhood.
The Roundtable is a three-times-yearly publication produced by our community.
People that are intrested in Karen House may write us a letter or call. We would of course do our best to answer any of your questions and perhaps arrange a visit.
