Altair Cohousing
Altair has been active for twelve years and currently consists of five families who have invested in cohousing. We follow the traditional cohousing model and are looking to build 30-40 units ranging in size from studios to four-bedroom units. We have our eye on sites in Kimberton and are working with green developers. Our goal is to build homes that are close to LEEDS platinum, with net-zero energy heating and cooling.
Upon an agreement of sale, we anticipate having a design retreat for our expanded membership: site, common house, and units. We seek people of all ages and income levels. At the moment, we need a solid group of investors! You can visit our website or contact us by email or phone.

Hi. Im Deborah. I was wondering if I could possibly get some more information about Altair Cohousing. I am interested in communal living, but it seems that most of the ones I have come accross dont accept young adults, or you have to pay a large fee to be a member. Also, I would like to know if you have things like community gardens, and how the expenses are paid per person and other things. Thank you very much and be blessed
