Altair Cohousing
Altair has been active for over five years, currently consists of four families who have invested in Cohousing. We follow the traditional model, looking to build 30-40 units ranging in size from studios to four bedrooms. A unique feature: we are looking to an architecture influenced by the work of Rudolf Steiner. We are looking for a site within a ten-mile radius of the Phoenixville/Kimberton area. Possibilities include urban infill, brownfields, suburban or rural sites.
Upon an agreement of sale, we anticipate having a design retreat for our expanded membership: site, common house, and units. We have several professionals actively interested: civil engineer, green developer, cohousing developer, and architect.
We seek people of all ages and income levels. You can visit our website at www.altaircohousing.com, or contact us by e-mailing Joel at altairchousing1@verizon.net or calling at 610-917-3648.
