Nakamura House
Ann Arbor, Michigan,
United States
We provide an extremely friendly and memorable cooperative experience. Combining modern amenities such as a Macintosh computer, a TV/VCR/cable, a piano, and a new stereo system, with a strong sense of tradition, a weird house culture, and fierce Nak pride, this co-op operates with abundant comfort and mirth. We provide a stable balance for students of all persuasions, including smokers/nonsmokers, cat lovers/haters, and vegetarians/carnivores. All your vices can be satisfied due to our prime location, proximate to campus (wake up five minutes before class), several eateries (fight the munchies), and three party stores (get your "pop and pretzels"). Our front porch, the best in all of Ann Arbor and the source of countless escapades, is marked by a beloved Pteranodon. Adept at throwing major parties as well as quieter social gatherings, Nakamura welcomes diverse students of all backgrounds. Stop by and check us out! We house 47 in 13 singles, 15 doubles, and two suites, and seven more members in the Kagawa Annex.
