King House
Ann Arbor, Michigan,
United States
King House is a nonsmoking apartment cooperative with six units.
Current ICC members have priority for signing contracts. King contracts are for 12 months, September 1---August 31. Apartments are not furnished. However, kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, and on-site parking are available. King is required to contribute to the ICC governance structure by electing a president to sit on the ICC board. King also encourages members to either sit on an ICC committee or provide ICC office labor. Other house jobs include yard maintenance, serving as maintenance manager, purchasing supplies, and acting as treasurer, among others.
