Black Elk House
Ann Arbor, Michigan,
United States
We are a socially conscious community of vegetarians and vegans who live, play, work, discuss, perform, and create together. We eat and socialize on our two wooden porches, in the warmth of the study's fireplace, and in our spacious kitchens and living room. Our property includes a bountiful organic garden, several fruit and nut trees, a performance space, and a sweet tree swing. We have a VCR and TV in the basement (with no cable or TV reception) as well as wireless internet. The Elk is a queer-friendly environment with a special focus on local and global activism, nutritious gourmet meals, and rockin' theme parties.
