Renaissance House
Ann Arbor, Michigan,
United States
The North Campus co-ops are divided into two co-op houses: Renaissance and O’Keeffe. Each co-op is further divided into suites, four in Renaissance and five in O’Keeffe. Within each suite approximately 18 members share a small kitchen and living room and a cable TV lounge. Each suite is further divided so that only four or five people share a telephone and a bathroom. Member rooms are primarily large or small singles, but our doubles provide some of Ann Arbor’s most affordable housing. To ensure quality and balanced meals, the houses have hired a professional chef.
In addition to the house kitchens, the basement contains many common areas shared by both houses. These include a study lounge, recreation room (with a ping-pong table, pool tables and a “honky tonk” piano), music room (with a baby grand piano), laundry room (detergent and bleach provided), and a darkroom (supplies not included).
