The Glen Ivy Lodge
The Glen Ivy Center thrives as a working example of the practical application of spiritual principles in everyday living. This necessitates an evolving design of community life that invites risk-taking and creativity, as vision and operational practicalities come together. Community members accomplish this balance by working and learning together in an atmosphere of respect and open communication. The community values the uniqueness of each individual, recognizing that personal development is key if the collective is to flourish.
Glen Ivy is also a gracious and love-filled home, both for its residents and for the many who come to visit. The activities of The Glen Ivy Center have emerged in service to its primary spiritual purpose—a collective revelation of the one spirit in form. The Glen Ivy Center was established in 1977 in accordance with the spiritual purposes of the Emissaries of Divine Light to assist in carrying forward a work of spiritual regeneration of humanity, under the inspiration of the spirit of God.
