Frankleigh Coflats consists of six flats (apartments) within a large Victorian Mansion. We have eight acres, an outside swimming pool, and an orangery. There is a communal laundry and a recreation area with a table tennis. We have no formal shared meals, although we do meet informally and are often invited to each other’s birthday parties and other celebrations, including music events.
We used to be part of a larger community and each family would pay equal rent for space according to their needs. We had an amicable split into two distinct communities, next door to each other. Both sides have now issued long leases to each flat/condominium.

Our longterm intention is to build eco-houses on the grounds. Decision making is by consensus, or majority if deadlocked.
