CoLibri Urban Housing Collective
Saint Louis, Missouri,
United States
 CoLibri is an active urban community in the heart of St. Louis, Missouri. We provide affordable inner-city housing for individuals wishing to live socially and environmentally responsible lives. Our community members reflect a wide array of interests, including human and animal rights, environmental issues, health and wellness, and education.
CoLibri is located in an historic neighborhood and is committed to responsibly rehabilitating and preserving the houses it occupies and to participating actively in the local community. We offer private bedrooms, shared kitchens and bathrooms, a unique organic garden, a small orchard, and a fire ring for socializing. Members gather many evenings for common meals and hold regular community meetings to discuss activities and concerns.
Colibri is located in South City near Jefferson Highway (44), with easy access to public transportation, libraries, schools, and shopping.
If you are interested in cooperative living in the city, we have:
• two houses with garden between, collectively owned and cooperatively run;
• vegetarian and non-vegetarian houses;
• a large organic garden and small orchard;
• affordable rents, including basic food;
• a focus on low-impact sustainable living;
• no pets allowed at this time.
