Turtles Island
Pine Hill, New York,
United States
We are a "1960s" community, re-forming as an ecobuilding, housing community. Members solicited. We are located in a mountainous part of the Hudson Valley on 72 acres unsuited for agriculture but suitable for gardening.
We offer primitive housing, and we have sites available for your building.
In return we request that new members care passionately about some ecological project and that you (they) translate that caring into action while you live here.
Weekly meetings by consensus. Daily meals in common. Simple living encouraged.
