 IN THE PLANNING STAGE:
Here is a really, really BIG Dream. Picture yourselves living on a beautiful 85 acre piece of land with 1/.2 mile of Pecos River Front in Pecos New Mexico Where we have water rights and an acre of organic gardens/ Where we have Tiny Houses around a large central gathering space, with a hot Tub and Herb Gardens, and a walk along the river.
There are 85 acres with ˝ mile of Pecos River Front with water rights for sale and it is begging for us to create a small community…based on Spiritual Omnivorism and a “Back to the Land” ethic many of us dreamed about long ago .
Doesn’t this still speak strongly to us? And the younger generation is eager to create their own form of community and sustainable living which we could create in Pecos.
Your dreams might include a non profit umbrella for sponsoring and creating a space for retreats… For meditation, for yoga, for tai chi, for photographers, for writers, for artists, for kids camps…a place to provide an oasis in nature. Picture the large platforms with tents and comfortable bedding for the visitors.
Many of us have expressed an ideal of a small group of people living on the land, intergenerational;, helping each other with a support system which comes from common goals, which would include creating \an acre of organic gardens and orchard, Bees?
Envision us using 10 acres to create a river front community with Tiny Houses surrounding a large central house for communal use. Solar Energy and Composting toilets!
For those who would want to be part of it in a different way : “Friends of the Land” who would have shares and be able to visit any time and help the vision grow.
SO: I WANT TO START A DISCUSSION ABOUT THIS,,,ON LINE AND LATER IN PERSON…. HOW ABOUT IT?
Sincerely, in love and dreams, Judy Henry
