 so we're not going to make you read the same generic (yet awesome) description of an ecovillage like how we strive for sustainability, haromney, peace, beauty, blah blah blah. Those are all given in the definition of an ecovillage.
so a couple of things make us a little different:
we are situated inside another larger intentional community which we are members of. but we are more focused on natural buildings, permaculture, and lifelong education,
we are a little obsessed with aesthetics, minimalism, and avoiding yucky things like blue tarps and generators.
we're way off the grid. but we do have wi-fi
we are very interested in finding more members, but life here is a little too rugged for most people. (mostly because the closest parking is 10 minutes walk from here)
in living here you would have to commit some work and some shared time with the rest of us. it would be like joining the family that most of us have never had. (I don't know if that's descriptive at all)
you would also need to be accepted as a member by the larger IC we are a part of.

Our community does not discriminate in regards to housing based on race/color, national origin, religion, sex/gender, family status (i.e. having children, not having children, or being pregnant), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, ancestry, source of income, age, creed, personal appearance, political affiliation, HIV infection, military/veteran status, unfavorable military discharge, gender identity or expression, receiving public assistance, or being the victim of domestic abuse.

Housing in our community is incidental to employment and therefore fair housing laws do not apply (though employment discrimination laws may).
