Vuavua
Wailevu West, Vanua Levu,
Fiji
Vuavua is a knowledge sharing eco-resort/farm/retirement community working with the nearby village. We are looking for participants who want to enjoy the flavour of village life while passing their skills and talents on to local people. The freehold owned site is a 95 acre former rice plantation at the mouth of the Yanawai River, Vanua Levu, Fiji. We are establishing a small resort catering to adventure/cultural travelers and making use of the area land and ocean facilities. Sustainable and green are foremost. Members will work to construct the infrastructure side by side with Fijian partners and train them in the opperation of the entity. The Fijians will train the members in the way of Fijian village life. Once the resort is up and running there will be no end of projects that the members can take on according to their talents, desires and needs of the greater community. A share crop opperation is soon to be in place for vegetables and aquaculture.
The property is 30 min. by boat across Savusavu Bay to the town of Savusavu or 2 hours by road. The area is an upcoming resort area and well deserves it's title as "The Hidden Paradise".
Current partners have construction, design, business, water sport and yachting experience. We believe everyone has some knowledge of value that can be passed on and is curious of others knowledge. We are exchanging and sharing knowledge.
We are currently four partners from Vancouver and Honolulu and we expect to divide the ownership via percentage shares. Total value before division, covering property ownership and development, will be A$150,000 to 200,000. Profits will be divided on a share percentage basis.
