Osho Garden
Saboia, Beja,
Portugal
(Additional information on About page of our blog)
Osho Garden is a communal project to create a meditation center and a Permaculture garden in southern Portugal. The project started in 2010 and presently our accommodation is limited to a maximum of about ten people. We welcome the participation of volunteer workers who intend to stay for the long term, and possibly become a member. We are growing as much of our own food as we can and Permaculture experience as well as other practical skills, such as construction, health food cooking, administration and maintenance are highly valued. We consider meditation an essential part of our lifestyle and practice it daily, particularly Osho active meditations, as we are inspired by his vision which he calls the New Man. Someone who is not just materially oriented or only spiritually but strives to be and have both. Those who dare to dream of creating paradise on earth.
We are 75 km from the south coast (Algarve), and 35 km from the west coast of Portugal. Nearby railway station, connecting to Faro and Lisbon.
