NW GA Farm
Kingston, Georgia,
United States
Our small group on the Farm is looking to add a few people to our prepping community which is slowly going off the grid. We are in N. Georgia between Rome & Cartersville, on a 10 acre 'horse farm'. We have a large garden plot & will be canning and jarring soon. Depending on your situation, we could offer a standalone 500 sf guest house that is nearly finished, or possibly living downstairs. We have a good big house where 2 women & 1 man -- me -- are living with pets. We have a fireplace upstairs in main floor and one down; we have a kitchen downstairs as well as up. 5-6 acres are in pasture, with a horse, plus finished barn, and the farm is hidden. We are on a hill with a breeze, which might make windpower possible. There is always a lot to do out here. It is a peaceful serene farm with wooded views, and the neighboring people think like we do.
We are older preppers and need younger people with time, labor & skills to add to our community. You would be part of the community, not an employee, not just a ranch hand, and we would be working together to make the farm more safe & sustainable [water well, wood burning stove, gardens, aquaponics maybe, etc.] for all of us. There could be a way, if you are interested longterm, in buying into the property. There could be a possibility of you building a small home on the property. There is no salary; we are hoping for a prepper type person who wants to exchange labor, time & skills for housing & the chance to be a part of a stable situation longterm. As a resident you could still get a part-time or full-time job in the area.
If you are interested, or know someone who would be, please contact me at 678-492-6025 or at containants@gmail.com . We have photos to share also; it's really quite a delightful property as well as safe and hidden.
I will send you a longer introduction and the skills we need / hope for, and our vision. We will be a 'bloom' community not a doom and gloom one, and we are spiritual people who depend on God to bring us all good things in His time with our labor.
