Our name says it all. We believe in smart progress- smart progress in everything. Our main focuses are technology issues, civil rights, and brotherhood. With technology, we believe new technologies should not be used to interfere with other people's rights and that we should limit our use of technologies that can dehumanize us. We are also opposed to the use of new radiation emitting wireless technologies such as cell phones (particularly smartphones) and wi-fi. With civil rights' we believe in breaking down age and race barriers. Much progress has already been done in the latter but with age issues we are still as backwards as ever. Smart Progressives believes in youth empowerment and also values the benefits of intergenerational friendships. We also believe in respecting and accepting people who choose to live whatever alternative lifestyle they want so long as that lifestyle is not harmful to others. We strongly believe in brotherhood and that that is something that should never be sacrificed. Our motto is "Maximizing the quality of life for the present and the future".
