RainSong Village Home
Duvall, Washington,
United States
RainSong Village Home is a small intentional community located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains about 45 minutes east of Seattle. We have a comfortable rustic house with many bedrooms, a small organic garden with many berry bushes, and a salmon bearing creek singing along one border.
We are passionate about our food, and cook almost everything from carefully selected, often local, nearly always organic or biodynamic sources. We eat lots of traditional foods, with lots of raw milk, kefir, kompucha, kimchee, organ meats and bone-broth soup. If you are not familiar with this diet, lots of fascinating information can be found at the Weston A. Price Foundation website.
We are also passionate unschoolers, letting our children choose their own paths and learn from their community and mentors.
We like to cook together, eat together, work and play together. We value privacy, and each adult or family has their own bedroom, but we greatly enjoy the community of sharing our common spaces together, and socializing, and learning from each other.
We welcome visitors and new members. Please email us if you'd like to come meet us!
