Grace Life Community founders
We are forming a unique intentional community based exclusively on the Spirit leading of Love through the individuals and families that reside among us. While this might sound overly simplistic to some, the practice of our community is to intimately know each other so that we are able to encourage and empower each other in real, continuous, and practical ways.
There are many brick-and-mortar organizations that are commonly referred to as churches or religious non-profit organizations that purport to practice these very same principles. However, they are merely principles and not a philosophy of life. While religious principles may emerge some of the time and under certain circumstances, a Grace Life philosophy is constantly informed by a divine Spirit personality that communicates through the faculty of our conscious mind.
The website indicated is actually the site for a book that I authored about the distraction of religion in meeting real people's needs and the compelling case for Grace in community--as opposed to religious principles. The book also serves as an ideological framework for persons interested in developing such an intentional community anywhere in the world that the reader finds him or herself.
We are seeking to employ cutting edge housing construction technology in terms of sustainable development and perma-culture. I have visited and studied in Findhorn, Scotland and studied other intentional communities worldwide. The community operation is intended to be financed by the craft and expertise of its members working together for the financial well-being of all. Utilizing micro-grants for small business or non-profit organizational services will fuel our viability.
The goal is to begin in Denver, Colorado and to develop a network of similarly-minded communities based on the praxis of our community and the intentional design offered within the book. As individuals and families of various backgrounds, gifting, affiliations, skill sets, etc. come together in community, the Grace Life Community network will flourish in its scope, reach, and beneficial influence upon all of its members the world around.
Presently we reside in a cabin in Grand Lake CO in Grand County. We are now opening our home to interested parties to reside for short-term or longer stays for exploration, self-discovery, or work toward our larger community goals. Is this you? Please contact us ASAP. We welcome your inquiry and your visit... or more.
