The Primal Village
Quinlan, Texas,
United States
(Mulberry Cove)
Current Situation
Bringing the intentional village and Primal skills together in one place for exceptional living and thriving in health, attitude, relationships and economy.
We have moved to the next stage and are now accepting prospective members.
The primal Village will be an Intentional Community comprised of individuals and families who's main goal in life is to live life without depending on the rest of the world for survival or existence.
You will find that most of these people will be trying to live the four R's (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). The reasons will be varied, some may live this life style because it is cost effective, others for the Planet, etc.
Members will most generally be interested in Alternative Energy production, Eliminating GMO foods from their diet, growing their own food (Wild Edibles, vegetables, meat, fruit), building their own Natural (locally obtainable natural resources) buildings/homes and many more similar ideas and lifestyles that result in not needing to buy anything.
I am looking for people who are interested in helping out with the formation and implementation of this project, if you are or know someone that might be, contact me.
We have decided to start with what we have for now and once we have established a community core we will begin looking for a minimum of 14 acres of unimproved, structureless (no buildings or improvements present) land. The more interest we have the more land we will need so it would be nice if we had options surrounding the core village.
Where we are at now, we have about .5 acre and could possibly get another 19 acres that directly adjoins our .5 acre. This is dependent on the owner and our available finances.
