We are in the beginning stages of gathering new friends to come and live with us in a self-sustaining, off-grid, affordable, healing retreat, loving community in beautiful Costa Rica. We are a small but awesome group of people & families that are pooling our funds together to create a thriving life in the tropics and we are looking for more like-minded friends who are looking to live this life.

Population Open to new members: Yes (We are welcoming new community members that have the same ideals and passion for the earth)	Government Decision Making: By majority rule Identified Leader: No	Labor and Money Financial Style: Members have independent finances Open to Members with Pre-existing Debt: Yes Labor Contribution: Expected (We believe that everyone should be involved in the community ... whether that is with sharing knowledge, gardening, or helping to build) Join Fee: Yes (To buy your plot of legally titled land (own your land outright!! no mortgages :)) Regular Fees: No (Once our retreats are up and running they will supply extra funds to the community-this is outlined in the investment area of our website :))
Land and Buildings Rural Area: 100 acres (40.5 hectares) (our plan is to have 50-200 acres, it just needs to be the perfect place for our community) Land Owned By: Individual community member(s) (Each community member will own their own plot) Number of Residences: 20 (or more ... members may decide to put two small houses on their land)	Food, etc. Percentage of Food Grown: over 50% Share Community Meals: 2-5 times/week (As often as possible :) We will have a large community kitchen and hang out area where people can enjoy each others company) Dietary Choice or Restrictions: Diet is up to each individual (Our community kitchen will be vegetarian only but members will not be judged for other diet choices, this is a place of NON-JUDGMENT :)) Dietary Practice: Primarily vegetarian Alcohol Use: Used occasionally Tobacco Use: Used Occasionally	Social Factors Common Spiritual Practices: Yes Which Spiritual Traditions(s): Buddhist (Earth religions/native american/shamanism/eastern religions/yoga/) Educational Style(s): Private school at the community (We will have a Waldorf inspired teacher & school house but you will have other schooling choices also)
