Raw/Organic/Superfood/Permaculture/Low-no impact housing
Colchester, Vermont,
United States
Hello! My name is Nicholas and I've been onto the Raw Organic lifestyle for about three and a half years now. I've been trying to find an eco community around chittenden county but there doesn't seem to be one so I'd thought I'd start one. I'm looking for like minded people who are interested in helping me start something like this. Let me tell you a little about myself so you can better understand who and what I'm looking for.
I am passionate about the beauty of life and mother nature. I believe that every life force that has been put on this planet was designed to work in harmony. I am a Raw Organic Superfood Vegan/Vegetarian and do not believe in animal slaughter. I have extensive "online" knowledge on how to do everything needed to build a self sustainable harmonious community. I'm passionate about Low-No Impact housing via eco domes, woodland homes, etc. check out www.garbagewarrior.com and http://www.simondale.net/house/
I am very much into mini hydro for my source / community source of electricity. I'm looking to find a nice size parcel of land to have multiple families sharing the same dream. I plan to have a beautiful outdoor Organic/Non-GMO vegetable garden and also want to build an indoor greenhouse with fruit trees such as bananas, mangos, avocado, mangosteen, durian, cacao!! And plenty of other fruit trees.
I am looking for people who are ready to make a change and live freely. It's going to take some money to start (to buy the land) but the estimated building costs for low impact woodland homes is only 3 months time and $5000. You use mostly what mother nature has to offer without harming her. Cutting down needed trees is hurtful but temporarily acceptable for building your house. I'm hoping we can gather non rotten fallen down trees for the most part and learn to be creative.
If you want to learn more about my ideas or have any questions feel free to email me @ aikey543@gmail.com
