Gaia's Sanctuary
Boulder, Colorado,
United States
Gaia's Sanctuary is in it's conceptual stage. We aim to create an ecovillage near the University of Colorado in Boulder that can be home to anyone looking to live a life that is harmonious with the environment. Gaia's Sanctuary will be home to a holistic health center with focus not only on healing what ails you but also in teaching a holistic and healthy way of life, from yoga and mediation to personalized diet. Another component of our project will be to create a sanctuary for single mothers looking for a way to sustainably live with their children and a school where children learn through life. We will also be an environment where our elderly can receive the care they may begin to need as they age so that they can continue to remain as easeful, peaceful, contributing members of the community. It will be a village which offers cradle to grave security. Our goal is to obtain near 100% self sustainability, with little need to bring in food, water or energy from outside sources. Gaia's Sanctuary is in the stages of becoming a non-profit organization with intent to apply for grant money to assist in its creation. We would love to have you on our team. Please share your knowledge and experience with us and help us to connect with anyone who you feel would benefit from this project and or love to assist in its creation.
