Evening Rain Farm
Kapoho, Hawaii, Big Island
Evening Rain Farm is currently a privately owned successful experiment in sustainable living on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is 22 acres in Kapoho, with over 1,000 trees planted, including palms, bananas, bamboos, and fruit and nut trees. The farm has 5 functional kitchens, barn, infrastructure, communal building, lots of food being produced, and substantial electrical and water systems for off-grid living. (see website EveningRainFarm.com)
At this time, the farm is simply a developed piece of land and one person's vision. I now want to create my farm into a community, owned collectively through an LLC. I am looking for about 8-12 individuals to contribute to buy shares of the property. The entire property is worth about $400K, so if there were 12 individuals, we would each contribute $33K. I own some, but not all of this property.
My vision is to join with individuals who enjoy other people and themselves, who are curious, who know what gratitude feels like, who are practicing self awareness, who genuinely say "yes" to differences, who can live together and thrive even in the midst of conflict, who are taking action towards the health of the planet and the health of their bodies, who take pleasure in working the land together, and who know joy.
