Aguas Segrada ( sacred waters) is a permaculture oasis and reforming ecovillage nestled in the southern pacific mountains of Costa Rica. On this magnificent 88 acre farm we grow sacred Art, Food and People. The land is abundant with with pure springs, waterfalls and organic gardens...
Our purpose includes being a model of sustainable thriving~ eventually becoming a peace education and retreat center, using natural / regenerative building and design, growing our own food, happiness and Life-honouring culture.
Aguas Segrada provides a community living/ retreat space devoted to conscious creation & loving relations with Nature and each other. Volunteer and guesting possibilities are available, along with private homestead/ cottage industry opportunities for like minded individuals and families. Some current projects are: organic cacao and cocoa production, a medicinal plants nursery and garden, an art farm explorium, and aguaponics( a highly productive energy efficient symbiotic system producing organic veggies, fish, shrimp, lobster and worm castings.
there is much love here for the joyful practices of swims, siestas, ecstatic dance, art and music making. work parties, and yoga... W e embrace many ways and tools of social artistry... ceremony, conscious community building, circle work, rites of passage, zegg forum and compassionate communication
( NVC) .etc..
