road to a new life
We are looking for people that want to build a community that can sustain itself. We do not have any political religious agenda, we simply want to build a community where people can live and work together without the stress, and as little need as possible for the commercial world.
Currently we have 250ac. an hour south of Mreida, Yucatan. As the land sits it is fully wooded with the exception of a few thousand sq. meters we have cleared for our rv. The soil is deep and rich, with about 100ac of farm-able land.
This is a brand new project and we need help to build a community. We do not have money just land and a dream. We are open to ideas on membership, ownership of land ect. This is all new to us and any advice is always welcomed.
I am adding this to clarify what we are looking for.
Hi,
We are just starting to clear land, a hard task with just my wife and myself. We welcome anybody who wants to help build and grow.
We have been having a hard time finding people who are willing to help start something from raw land. So far it seems that everyone is looking for some place fully set up that they can live off for nothing. We are just starting and do not have anything set up, or the money to support others. The only people to respond so far seem to be looking for free ride. We do not want anyone who is not willing to feed themselves and take care of themselves. We want people who can help build a farm, At that point there will be something to live off of.
We are looking for people who are responsible, hard working, and willing to grow with the farm. No special skills are needed just a willingness to work. There are no structures on the land just trees. We are currently living in an RV ourselves, so anyone intrested also need to be willing to either live in a tent or build their own structure.
We welcome all who are willing to put in the effort.
If you are still intrested we have space for you
Thanks
Dan&Lola
After many responces we have decided to change our poicy on members. We are now offering a 5% intrest in the project. This will cost $500USD and the agreement that you stay till the end whether that be a fully operating community or we all give up and sell(not really an option as far as I am concerned) We are only offering to 2 people or groups for now. We will possibly offer more at a future date. The main focus for now is getting help on the project.
