Wolf Willow Cohousing

We have created a community for older adults and have built on a property on the edge of Saskatoon’s revitalized cultural core that meets our goal of locating within walking or biking distance of most of our needs. A charming bike and pedestrian trail runs the length of 17th Street and connects with the riverside trail system. The residents have actively participated in the planning with the goal to create an old-fashioned neighbourhood that supports friendly cooperation, socializing, mutual support and environmental responsibility. We currently have two units as yet unsold. Individuals or couples interested in our project are invited to contact us.

Our community fits the legal definition of "housing for older persons" * and thus we may restrict membership/residency to those of a certain age and may have limits on child membership/residency in accordance with the law. Our community does not discriminate based on race/color, national origin, religion, sex/gender, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, ancestry, source of income, creed, personal appearance, political affiliation, HIV infection, military/veteran status, unfavorable military discharge, gender identity or expression, receiving public assistance, or domestic abuse.

Comment: While we are mostly 'senior' we have decided to allow self-selection to determine age.
