Lanark Ecovillage
Lanark, Ontario,
Canada
We are a forming community near the village of Lanark, Ontario. We have 160 acres, mostly rock and trees, but with two established gardens, a 3 bedroom home and a well-equipped woodwork shop.
The property is currently owned by one of the members. We hope to establish a multi-stakeholder cooperative soon.
Our goal is to be a model for sustainable, low impact living. We intend to practice, learn and teach permaculture as well as sustainable forestry.
Inquiries are welcome. You can also check our open discussion board at http://groups.google.com/group/lanarkecovillage/topics?hl=en
