Honua Oia'i'o Kauai
Anahola, Kauai, Hawaii,
United States
Honua Oia'i'o Kauai essentially means the Truth of the Earth in Kauai or Land of Truth of Kauai.
Returning to the land as we are from the land. This is both idealistic and practical. If you are ready to return to the land, this may be a sustainable way for you to do so.
We would like to form a small community in Kauai where the members will be able to share in the joys of life on the land!
We are particularly interested in potential members who are also musicians and involved in yoga or have other unique/artistic talents.
There will be no specific leader. Decisions by consensus/egalitarian principles.
There will be a Yoga Studio, geared towards acceptance of all levels. Prenatal, postnatal, yoga with kids, yoga for adults, intense hot yoga, intuitive yoga, restorative yoga. We practice and teach yoga and welcome other yoga practitioners and teachers.
We would also plan to have an educational community center for IC, NVC, Health Workshops, classes, meetings, Musical Gatherings, etc.
We would like to grow as much raw vegan organic food as possible, use natural biodynamic resources and build some dwellings on some acreage just east of the Anahola Heights, near the coastal enclave of land there.
The first step is to buy the land. We are looking for 7-10 initial founding members to each contribute at least $20,000 ($30,000 for couples/families) down on the purchase of the community owned land.
Music, Yoga, and other Workshops and outputs would contribute to the payoff of the land. Members are encouraged to have work-from-home talents/skills to be able to sustain the community in the formative years.
We want this to be a safe and sustainable place for families to grow and learn in health and happiness!
