Rockland EcoVillage & Cohousing
New York,
United States
(Rockland County, NY)
I have experience living in intentional community, organizing groups and doing outreach, experience with growing food, and interest in raising sheep, goats, chickens. I am a libertarian interested in alternative education, homesteading, and human-centered living.
Rockland County is in the lower Hudson Valley, and within commuting distance to NYC. In a few years a high-speed train line will be built making a direct connection to NYC by public transportation. Much of it is beautiful parkland and open space, bisected by a couple of major highways and and bordered on the east by the Hudson River and south by Bergen County, NJ. There are a few alternative schools in the area and an interesting artistic/cultural/green scene.
