Mulberry Hill
Saline, Michigan,
United States
As of May 2010, we are two families sharing a large farmhouse, outbuildings and 17 acres near Ann Arbor, MI. We are moving forward with plans to add no more than six households to the grange, with a maximum of three dwellings. We partake in activities such as: garden cooperative, animal husbandry, permaculture, cheese-making, mead and beer brewing, etc. We like to think of ourselves as a tribe, where labor and resources between autonomous households are shared as makes sense. Currently, the garden cooperative is managed as a registered non-profit, and farming activities (only eggs thus far) as a corporation.
