Men's Cohousing
Kansas City, Missouri,
United States
This is a community of men set up in an old motel. The rooms are small, but offer private shower and toilet. There will be a common kitchen and community room.
Right now we have the property secured, and will be looking for work exchange people to help clean it out and get it livable. There is a lot of work to be done, and some more planning that needs to take place.
This is an urban/industrial area. Very close to downtown Kansas City. Bus stop is half a block away, and there is easy highway access.
This will be gay friendly, but not Manditory. Contributions will be monthly rent and some chores just to keep the place up. The goal is to have a cheap and safe place for young men getting started, artists looking for a way to live cheap and support their work, or simply people who want to have a small place to live while experiencing life.
Anyway, this is just some early thoughts so I can get this posted and start getting some feedback.
Status: Have property trying to get it organized
