Essenium
masaya,
Nicaragua
We are a small Essene community in the heart of Nicaragua. Our focus is sustainable farming and doing more with less. We inhabit a large farm and are constantly improving our food forest, the gardens, soil and community resources. We pursue an organic, mostly raw, communal and non-violent way of life, with the intent being to have a more beautiful and productive farm, community and planet at the end of the day.
We nourish bananas, coconut, avocado, mango, citrus and many other trees and plants. There are four large fields on the property, a huge open air rancho, large animals, internet, ample facilities for Being comfortable. We are easy to get to by bus and usually busy ourselves with construction and permaculture projects, but also find time for yoga, music, meditation, reading, swimming and chilling. The pacific ocean is two hours away and Granada ten 10 minutes.
Proactive, spiritually mature people and couples do best here. Helpers with a passion for plants and creating beauty and those with a month or longer to plug in and become comfortable with themselves and our systems are welcome. If your spanish is good it will be used here and if not it will get better.
We endeavor to honor the fact that first and foremost we are a global family: We are honored to share what we have, give what we can and we evolve by losing our little me's in the process. With a commitment to being here and becoming tuned in to our systems, our expenses become cheaper and helpers become a lot more productive and fulfilled. What you can or wish to share only, becomes known only after you arrive. We endeavor to live in the moment and have lots of space and good security. While not preferable, it might be OK if your time is short, just let us know what your about first as we prefer helpers not guests! We need help going to the market, painting, cleaning, gardening, planting/pruning, trail making, composting, raw food preparation and making solar ovens for the community.
If you wish to join community, cheaply, we may be able to help as this is one of the reasons we are here: To be Free and present with All That IS, Now, Here, Today. Journey Well
