Berkeley California Vegan Community
Berkeley, California,
United States
(rental)
Vegan permaculture community forming in Berkeley CA.for 5 to 20 people of all ages. Artist's especially weclcome.
focus is on compassion, creativity, sustainability and educating and helping others to start on the path of vegan and permaculture ventures. Creating income through collaboration as well as working part time or full time jobs.
We will start out in a rental location and move on from there. This is to be an urban intentional living space/ecovillage that is accessible to those who will rent a house, duplex or converted industrial/loft space.
The urban focus is so that we can access our day jobs as long as we need them and be there to give workshops to others who want to form urban communities and don't know where to begin.
The point is to start on growing our own food in the garden or roof garden or deck space while we work toward collaborative ways to generate income and find a more permanent location or a secondary rural location with more land for food forest style fruit based permaculture.
It is possible to create an affordable urban eco-village without having to buy land first.
