 This is a newly forming intentional cooperative residential/educational/business community. We are an emerging educational non-profit with goals towards establishing schools and businesses for higher learning and cooperative/communal economic sustainability in the fields of holistic health care, spirituality, agriculture, arts and entertainment, publishing, architecture, design....
We welcome anyone with an interested in education, agriculture, psychology, holistic health care, economic developement, publishing, art, and green ecohouse building.
The age group is wide: emancipated youth to senior citizen. We welcome all ages providing you are ready to contribute to a community that dreams of becoming a warm,welcoming haven for the Sierra Foothill community.
You do not need money or a huge down payment to get involoved, however, standard housing expenses will apply.
Our goal is to create a self sufficient community that will be an asset to the region and contribute to the global evolution of human awareness, peace, contemplative life, holistic health for lifelong good health, rejuvination, and healing environments.
Think Ashram, think serene health care, think education the way you always dreamed spiritual education and spiritual life could always be like.
Update August 29th, 2011:
Since posting I've had good response from local folks and people outside of our region looking for a place to grow and live. Thank you all for checking in.
We are still very much in the people gathering phase and if you are interested in learning more or becoming involved, please email and get on our contact list!
Soon we will begin the incorperation steps and set a goal at getting our tax exemption. Then we will begin business and community developement.
Update January 4, 2012:
Happy New Year to all! We are making progress. We've had our first formation meeting and a couple of casual "get to know you" type meetings.
We are now occupying a restaurant/health center space in Pollock Pines,CA. and welcome all to come and visit, stop in for coffee or tea, a visit, meditation, or some yoga!
Our first two projects we are working on are:
1. A holistic healthcare and educational center
2. An Eco-village community
We encourage all of you to keep reaching out to us, all are welcome and there is pleanty to do!

we lived in Mt.Aukum and never heard of you... else we would have came to see how you live.
