ABC stands for Asset Based Community Developments Equalizing Freedom Globally. Every person is an asset and brings special gifts to the table.

We are gathering humanitarians to co-create utopia. We will sit down at the round table and design a city that would seek to eradicate all human suffering. No more poverty. No more inequality with liberty, justice and abundance for all. Can it be done? Absolutely!

We are gathering the gifted and talented of the country to design a community that can sustain itself with cutting edge inventions and technologies. We would gather the unemployed and under employed who are willing and able to make a commitments to the community to utilize their energy and expertise to build it from the ground up.

Many land owners in the world who are willing to donate a mile square for this purpose will unite with those who contribute labor, materials, knowledge and exptertise. Together we can build communities around the globe that are interconnected in a gift economy with gift governance.

Statement of Housing Non-discrimination:

Housing in our community is incidental to employment and therefore fair housing laws do not apply (though employment discrimination laws may).

Our community does not discriminate in regards to housing based on race/color, national origin, religion, sex/gender, family status (i.e. having children, not having children, or being pregnant), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, ancestry, source of income, age, creed, personal appearance, political affiliation, HIV infection, military/veteran status, unfavorable military discharge, gender identity or expression, receiving public assistance, or being the victim of domestic abuse.

Comment: We are inter-faith based and welcome anyone who is respectful of the beliefs of others.

Population Open to new members: Yes (People who desire to learn more about the community buy the books and register for webinars and collaboration retreats.)	Government Decision Making: Other (We have a structure of leadership through the family. Each head of household represents their own household. 10 households unite to elect one leader to represent them in planning meetings. 50 households unite to elect one representative and so on.) Identified Leader: Yes (We have a founder, Teresa Foster, who is the motivator and writer of the books and projects to align everyone involved and facilitate collaboration.) Leadership Core Group: Yes (The elected leaders attend a planning committee meeting to make decisions and plan for changes within the community.)	Labor and Money Financial Style: Other (We believe in a gift economy and gift governance much like parents provide for their children with no strings attached. Through donated land and donated materials and volunteer labor we believe we can co-create utopia, a self-sustaining community that supports each individual to become their healthiest and happiest in body, mind and spirit.) Open to Members with Pre-existing Debt: No (It is very important to be out of debt and free from incumberances.) Labor Contribution: Expected (Each individual will contribute what they have for the greatest global good. Some will have labor to contribute. Some will have mateirals. Some will have land.) Join Fee: Yes (There may or may not be a joining fee based upon the agreement made and the contribution offered. If an unemployed construction worker offers labor to build homes within the community, his fee will be paid in labor. If a retiree is unable to labor, but can bring in the much-needed cash for materials, he will be excused from labor. If a manufacturer contributes materials in exchange for labor provided by those in the community (employees paid in land and benefits) he may or may not pay a fee.) Regular Fees: Yes (Monthly dues will be paid during the forming stages until the gift economy is established.)
Land and Buildings Small Town (Our community plan limits the space to a one-mile square or 640 square acres with 170 acre ranch in the center for raising animals, gardens, orchards, honey bees, a fish pond, and other food producing endeavors.) Area: 640 acres (259.0 hectares) (We are asking for 1 mile square parcels of land. Land owners may donate as part of their contribution to the community.) Land Owned By: Other (The land must be donated in order for a gift economy to work. The legal ownership will be determined by the planners who get involved during the planning stages.) Number of Residences: 400 (A variety of living situations will be included in the plan; single family dwellings, retirement villas and small cottages, single adult and young married apartments, and charity residents.) Cohousing: No	Food, etc. Percentage of Food Grown: over 50% (Self-sufficiency from the earth is one of the main goals of the community. All who live in the community will commit to producing their own needs to the greatest extent possible.) Share Community Meals: 1 time/week (A common meal for Friday Festival night will be the highlight of the week.) Dietary Choice or Restrictions: Other (Community members have a commitment to live off the land to the greatest extent possible.) Dietary Practice: Primarily vegetarian (Community members will choose their own dietary practices within the commitment to producing their own food and being self-sustaining.) Alcohol Use: Used occasionally (Community members make a commitment to remain free from addictions, however restrictions will not be imposed.) Tobacco Use: Seldom used (Community members have a commitment to their community to keep their health at the highest energy possible.)	Social Factors Common Spiritual Practices: Yes (The committments we have are posted at ABCDevelopments.com.) Which Spiritual Traditions(s): Ecumenical (includes "all religions") (Unity of all faiths will be necessary to truly co-create utopia. Community members are not required to believe a specific doctrine, but will be required to respect and embrace the beliefs of all who are willing to contribute to the greater good of the community.) Educational Style(s): Private school at the community (Home schooling with private schooling offered to support families with school aged children.)
