TEMPELHOF HISTORY
In December 2010, after 3 years of personal growth processes, a core group of about 40 adults (mostly German) plus children purchased a small abandonned castle village with 31 hectares of land in Baden-Württemberg, southern Germany. We are self-organized into numerous overlapping collaborative Work Circles (Arbeitsgruppe AG), one of which is a Coordination Circle. Decisions are made at Village Meetings using a six-step consensus process.
15 Tempelhofians in the Construction Circle (AG Bauhütte) spent 4 months renovating certain buildings to serve as temporary quarters until sustainable structures are erected. In March/April 2011 about 40 people moved in. By now we are about 60. The Agriculture Workgroup (AG Landwirtschaft und Gartenbau) is planting our second crops now while erecting a new glass greenhouse next to our two 40 meter greenhouses. One field is already planted with sunflowers for the bees to use this summer.
Groups have formed to bring heating, electricity, water, sewer, economy and human culture all into sustainability.

2.Diversity
3.All-Leader
4.Relationship- and Communications-Culture
5.Radical Responsibility

TEMPELHOF CONTEXT
The context created from these 6 values is called "next culture". During Impulse Talks and Study Groups several times a week we continue to deepen and expand next-culture context at Tempelhof.
Tempelhof is already a complex and evolving culture that includes elements such as:
- The "We" Process. (www.community4me.com/communitybldg1.html)
- Six-step consensus decision making. (www.mehr-demokratie.de)
- Artabana health circles. (www.artabana.org)
- Personal development. (www.nextculture.org) and others.
If you can read German, please review www.schloss-tempelhof.org for details about Vision & Werte, and Arbeitsgruppen (work groups). Otherwise please write or call at the numbers listed.

Visitors Accepted
 (please communicate with us first)
Visitor Process: Please try to inform yourself about what we are doing here before you arrive. Since most everyone at Tempelhof is German is helps if you can speak some Deutsch. Also it helps if you have read through the website www.schloss-tempelhof.org, some related books (such as Directing the Power of Conscious Feelings by Clinton Callahan) and have discovered in yourself some strong attractive resonance to our 6 Principles. The focus of Tempelhof is personal development, so it helps to have some understanding of the necessity for growing up. When in doubt, call us. We love meeting new people.
