| We have 10 acres for communal living with several 40 acre pieces for sale in the area for those that want to participate with land ownership.
You may bring your RV, mobile home, school or city bus, etc. and park in our communal area, meet our people, bask in our ambiance, and decide to own or share.
We are not a religious group as in denomination, however we are Christian and believe that the Constitution of the United States was inspired by God to create the Promised Land for a spiritually inclined people.
We do not tolerate violence or theft.
Most of us have guns as do the majority of the population within 100 miles.
Our web site is currently under construction and we have need for someone with HTML, CSS, and SEO skills as well as for carpenter, mechanic, electrician, school teacher, etc. The local area has a surplus of jobs with over 100 vacancies in the oil industry right now. In this county, everyone that wants a job has one.
We have several single men so women are especially welcome.
We have a very nice well which can supply over a thousand people. Most of us use solar and wind, however utility lines are less than a mile away if anyone prefers perpetual payments to a utility over free energy.
Our founder is a dealer for solar and wind products and allows all members to purchase at around 50% off retail.
There are four distinct seasons here with cold winters where temperatures are below zero for a couple weeks. Summers are hot enough to be naked. Wildlife include deer, elk, rabbits, squirrels, lots of birds, and an ocaisional skunk, racoon, and snake.
We are on a private road 1.3 miles from county road and 12 miles from Duchesne, Utah. Our land is heavily wooded and overlooks Starvation Reservoir. At over 6000 feet, we have an excellent view of the entire area.
There are several Internet providers in the area but service is slow. We are installing a 15 mile hotspot which we will sell subscriptions to in order to recover equipment costs.
This past winter was unusually wet as was the spring and this summer. As a result, we will have hundreds of tons of pine nuts. A roadside stand down on Hiway 40 could net hundreds of dollars a day for someone wanting to sell the pine nuts. The surrounding mountains are loaded with full pine nut trees.
If you are looking for a friendly and safe place to spend the rest of your life in beautiful surroundings in a self-sufficient atmosphere, this is the place. |
