SAN AGUSTIN, HUILA,
Colombia
(the project is inthe mountains 30 kms from the town, but we have an ecohouse inthe town.)
 THE JAGUAR TRIBE:
We are a galactic synchronization crew studying and practicing Maya Calendar in a place called San Agustín – Huila, Colombia. Geographically speaking the place where we live is near to the Magdalena riverīs Birthplace, one of the most important rivers of this country. We are working in a farm close to a forest reservation in the mountains about 2000 meters above the sea level; We started to work two and a half years ago, we rebuilt an old house (six rooms) and make some new constructions, like a communitarian kitchen, non-polluting sanitary batteries, among others.
We want to become sustainable and for that purpose we work, we are actually raising cows for milk, and we grown our own food organically; although we are also dedicated to some activities related with tourism, which is common in the surroundings. Some of the productive activities are developed in town, as for example the distribution of agricultural products. We produce handcrafts as a way of sponsoring new projects inner the community, and provide some services to tourism as the guidance service in the zone and horse renting. We receive visitors and are open to cultural exchange, we are very interested in trading knowledge; we receive visitors in the mountains and in the town. We also are open to cooperation of students and travelers. Although we speak Spanish we are able to communicate with foreign visitors in English. We are not spiritually fanatic; we follow the Maya calendar as a way to evolve individually and collectively; we are very interested in our healing and motherīs nature, and of all the people that comes to visit. We respect the diversity of thinking and religious and spiritual background for what we want is to live in harmony within us and with the beings around us in nature. There are many species of flore and faune that we wish to protect, anyone intereste in visiting the zone, can contact us....thanks.

Contact:
