Kent Cooperative Housing is based in beautiful Kent, Ohio. Founded in 1982,

Our organization currently includes three houses, and we're looking to expand. Our mission is to provide affordable housing to students (Kent State University) and non-students alike. Houses are managed democratically, member-owners acting as their own "landlords."

Members of NASCO, we try to work cooperatively with local organizations such as our Food Co-op whenever possible. We also sponsor a community garden. We strive for housing that is enriching, empowering, and enjoyable!
