 This is a forming community based on sustainable housing and permaculture with a specific interest in earthships, self-sustainability, CSAs, the larger community involvement and showing the world that it can be done better, cheaper and more happily a different way. We're interested in shared and seperate dwellings. As of today, we have a healer, an engineer and a bunch of kids.
Please contact us for any information, to get interested/involved or to provide valuable insight into something you've already tried!
June 2011 Update:
Bought the land! 14+ Acres near Fulton, IL. 60 Year old berm house, delapidated out buildings, 2 huge greenhouses and 3 cats. We moved in and started planting trees. The CSA didn't happen this year, but as soon as we're settled in, we'll start up the greenhouses.

Visitor Process: Visitors are encouraged to email us. We check it regularly and will get back to you. The start of summer is busy, so we may be open to visits starting end of summer 2011. Alternately, we could set up some Skype time for a chat.

A CSA on the property is a great amenity. I have personally participated in and enjoyed the fruits of a CSA program and particularly appreciate the value in organic, healthy and local food production. Best of luck and weather to you in this endeavor!
