We are an Intentional Christian community in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood, and housed in the parsonage (AKA the 'Nidge) of Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Community of The Holy Trinity is a community centered around the life of prayer seeking to offer support and hospitality to artists, social activists and social workers, and to offer group and individual spiritual direction as we walk along side brother's and sisters in Christ on the journey of faith.

Visitor Process: If you wish to visit the Community of the Holy Trinity, contact us by phone or e-mail, giving us dates when you'd like to come and how long you plan to stay. Leave us contact information: we will then get back to you on your visit within a couple of days.

Statement of Housing Non-discrimination:

Because our housing is a single housing unit and requires the sharing of bathroom, kitchen and common space membership/residency may be restricted based on sex/gender in accordance with the law. Our community does not discriminate based on race/color, national origin, religion, family status (i.e. having children, not having children, or being pregnant), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, ancestry, source of income, age, creed, personal appearance, political affiliation, HIV infection, military/veteran status, unfavorable military discharge, gender identity or expression, receiving public assistance, or domestic abuse.

Our community is a legally sanctioned church or religious organization and living in our community is restricted to members of that religion as allowed by law. Our religion does not discriminate based on race, color, or national origin. Housing in our community is non-commercial (i.e. not intended to make a profit).

Labor and Money Financial Style: Members have independent finances (We have a common account to which each member contributes an assessment each month.) Open to Members with Pre-existing Debt: Yes Labor Contribution: Expected (There is the expectation that members help maintain the property of the community, that amounts to an hour to three hours a week depending on assigned task.) Join Fee: No Regular Fees: Yes (See comment under financial style)
Land and Buildings Urban Land Owned By: Another form of Non-profit (We have a property sharing agreement with a local church who owns the property) Number of Residences: 2 (We have two seperate spaces for housing on the property of Immanuel Lutheran Chruch)	Food, etc. Percentage of Food Grown: none (We are looking into urban and roof top gardening) Share Community Meals: 2-5 times/week Dietary Choice or Restrictions: There are some dietary restrictions (Our common meals are vegetarian, but beyond meals taken togeter diet is up to each individual member) Dietary Practice: Other (See above) Alcohol Use: Used occasionally Tobacco Use: Seldom used (No smoking indoors.)
